Faculty Details

Dr. Sanjib Nayak obtained his M.Sc. degree in Physics from IIT Guwahati. After that he received his Ph.D. degree from department of Physics IIT Guwahati. He perused his postdoctoral research at City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong (China) over a period of 2.5 years. After that he worked as a National Postdoctoral fellow (NPDF) in IIT Madras for 2 years. Dr. Sanjib visited two national laboratory in USA (Oak-Ridge National Laboratory and Argonne National Laboratory) as visiting scientist. Dr. Sanjib Nayak published 39 international journals and presented his work in 14 international conference. Dr. Sanjib has google scholar citation 447 with h-index 13. He successfully completed a SERB funded project (amount 22.36 Lakh) as a principal investigator [SERB NPDF project file no: PDF/2020/001921]. He is a potential reviewer of Elsevier journals like ‘Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials’; and ‘Material Science and Engineering B’. He joined as an Assistant Professor in VIT from September 2023.
