Dr. Jagriti Gupta has a Doctorate in Materials Science and an M.Tech. in corrosion Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB). At the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre Mumbai, she conducted postdoctoral research in the Chemistry Division, with the support of the Government of India through the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB). She also worked as the DST women Scientist at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre Mumbai. She was awarded an Excellence Ph.D. thesis work award by IIT Bombay. Furthermore, she was awarded two research grants, one from SERB and the other from DST as the Project Investigator. Her research experience exceeds 7 years and she has mentored many students during that time. Several national and international conferences have witnessed her active involvement as an organizer. She has published more than 34 research articles in peer-reviewed journals of international repute such as ACS, RSC, Elsevier, and IOP Journals, Conference proceedings, and book chapters. She is a reviewer with notable journals like ACS Omega, ACS Crystal Growth & Design, Journal of Materials Chemistry, Nanoscale, Journal of Biomedical Nanotechnology, and Colloids & Surfaces B: Biointerfaces, Materials Sciences & Engineering C, ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces etc. Her research focuses on the development of nanomaterials for environmental and biomedical applications.
