Dr. Vivek Sharma is an Assistant Professor Grade 2 in the School of Computing Science and Engineering at VIT Bhopal. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, Rajasthan, where his research focused on design and development of efficient computational methods for intelligent farming techniques, Dr. Vivek has made significant contributions to the field. He completed his M.Tech in computer science and engineering from Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology, Guna, Madhya Pradesh. He has around 08 years of academic and research experience and has worked in good positions at various institutions and universities. His research interests encompass Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Smart Agriculture. Prior to joining VIT Bhopal, Dr. Vivek was an Assistant Professor (senior scale) at Manipal University Jaipur and Samrat Ashok Technological Institute (A grant-in-aid Autonomous Engineering College Estd. in 1960). Dr. Vivek has authored about 25 research papers including 06 SCI and 01 Scopus indexed journal publications. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for advancing knowledge in his field, Dr. Vivek continues to make valuable contributions to the academic and research community. In addition to his professional pursuits, he is actively involved in social upliftment initiatives and working with underprivileged communities.
