Faculty Details

Dr. D. Saravanan is an Senior Assistant Professor in the School of Computing Science and Engineering at VIT Bhopal University. He holds Doctorate in Computer Science Engineering and Master Degree in Network and Internet Engineering from Pondicherry University (A Central University), Pondicherry, and Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Anna University. In addition to academics he trained in Technology like Rational Software Architect, Cyber security in industry. He has 10+ years of academic experience had been in charge of various administrative responsibilities. He has published research articles and book chapters in highly reputed international journals and like SCI, Scopus, Springer, and Web-of-Science and Conferences. He has 2 patents to his credit and has received research incentive scheme award for his research contributions. He is a reviewer for reputed SCI & Scopus Indexed Journals like Computer Communications – Elsevier Publications, John Wiley & Sons Publications, Emerald Publications etc. He is also a Member of IEEE and Lifetime Member of Indian Society for Technical Education. His research interests include Computer Networks, Vehicular Ad-hoc networks, Cyber Security, SD-WAN, IoT, Bio-Inspired Computing, Optimization Algorithms.
