Faculty Details

Dr. Rajeev Saxena holds PhD in Linguistics and Phonetics from The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU formerly known as CIEFL), Hyderabad. He also holds M.Phil. and MA from the same Institute (EFLU) Lucknow Campus. His PhD thesis analysed BBC’s portrayal of India employing Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA), an interdisciplinary approach. Post PhD, he taught at IIT-Delhi as a guest faculty for one academic year. At IIT-D, he was one of the key members in a team meant to produce need based English language materials and teach the same to engineering graduates. Dr. Saxena has taught and designed several need based courses specifically catering to different stream of engineering students other than courses of communication.
