Dr. Pradeep Kumar Kayshap

Dr. Pradeep Kumar Kayshap is a Ph.D. from Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences (ARIES), Nainital, India. He has been a Post-Doctoral fellow at Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA), Pune, India, Max Planck Institute of Solar System Research, Gottingen, Germany, Maria Curie-Sklodowska University, Lublin, Poland, and University of South Bohemia, Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic. He has 23 publications in high impact factor journals, like Nature Astronomy, The Astrophysical Journal (ApJ), Solar Physics, Astronomy & Astrophysics (A&A), etc. His research work is well cited with an h-index of 11. Dr. Kashyap’s research is mainly focused on the diagnosis/analysis of solar jets, explosive events etc., waves/oscillations that take place in Sun\'s atmosphere and space weather prediction using solar irradiance. His research utilizes high resolution observations provided by the space observatories viz. NASA/IRIS, Hinode, SDO, etc
