Faculty Details

Sheerin Kayenat got Ph.D. from the Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology, Patna, India. She has an expertise on construction and analysis of Exact and Non Standard Finite Difference Schemes. The title of PhD thesis is \"On the stability and convergence of exact and nonstandard finite difference schemes for a class of non-linear ODEs and PDEs\". She has completed her masters (M.Sc.) in Mathematics from Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar. She has published seven research articles in renowned peer reviewed International journals. Two of her publications are SCI indexed and the rest are SCIE indexed. Along with this, she has presented her work in various National and International conferences. She is also reviewing research papers for some renowned International journals. Some of her other research interests include monotone iterative technique, Haar wavelets and modelling with mainly differential equations.
