Faculty Details

Dr. Sivabalan KR is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Computing Science and Engineering at VIT Bhopal University. He holds a Doctorate degree and an M.C.A from Alagappa University, Karaikudi. With a comprehensive background in academia and research spanning over 7 years, he has gained valuable experience at both NIT Tiruchirappalli and Alagappa University. Dr. Sivabalan actively serves as a reviewer for esteemed SCI and Scopus journals, including IEEE, Springer, and the American Journal of Remote Sensing. He has authored a book titled \"Remote Sensing Big Data for Environmental Classification.\" Furthermore, he has published 11 papers in high-impact peer-reviewed international journals. In addition, Dr. Sivabalan has showcased his expertise by presenting 12 papers at renowned national and international conferences. His research interests primarily revolve around the fields of Remote Sensing, Big Data, and Information Security.
