Faculty Details

Dr. R. Sukumar earned his Doctorate from VIT University, Vellore, Tamilnadu, India. He received his Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology and Master\'s in Computer Science and Engineering from Madras University and Anna University, Tamilnadu, India, respectively. He has an academic experience of nine years and has worked at various levels. He has 19 renowned International and National journal publications, one book chapter, and two patent publications. He has executed one funded project proposal entitled \"Weather-based maize yield forecast in Saudi Arabia using statistical analysis and Machine learning\" (IFT20157), accepted and funded by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ministry of Education, King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia. His research interests include Natural Language Processing, Knowledge-Based Systems, Language models, and Geospatial NLP.
