Faculty Details

Dr. Adnan Abbasi is currently an Assistant Professor of Mathematics in School of Advance Sciences and Languages at VIT-Bhopal University. Before this he taught for 3 years as an Assistant Professor in Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science, Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh and Netaji Subhas University, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. He did his B.Sc(Hons.) in Mathematics and M.Sc. in Mathematics with Computer Science from Jamia Millia Islamia. He then joined Aligarh Muslim University and completed his M.Phil and Ph.D in Mathematics specialising in Ring Theory. He is am active researcher and has attended many national and International workshops and conferences in India as well as abroad, including a CIMPA school in Cape Town, South Africa and Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University, Istanbul, Turkiye. Dr. Abbasi has several papers in SCI and Scopus indexed international journals of repute. His current research interests are algebra, ring theory, functional identities and Operators algebra.
