Dr. Pooja Verma is an Assistant Professor in the School of Advanced Science & Languages, VIT Bhopal University. She received her doctorate degree in Physical Chemistry from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. Dr. Verma is an accomplished academic with a strong background in the field. Her academic journey began with an undergraduate degree from Miranda House, University of Delhi, and pursued her postgraduate studies at IIT Jodhpur. She has co-authored 6 research publications so far in peer-reviewed international journals with good impact factor. She has participated and presented her work in various National and International Conferences advancing her scientific knowledge. The research area of interest includes Electronic Structure Theory and Molecular Dynamics. Her thesis work is focused on elucidating the mechanism of radiation damage to genetic material caused by low-energy electrons in the presence of biological environment.
