Faculty Details

Dr. Abhinav Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the School of Advanced Science & Languages at VIT Bhopal University. He received his master\'s and doctoral degrees in Physics from the IIT Hyderabad. He also has one year of Pre-PhD research experience in a UGC-DAE-sponsored project. He has demonstrated a strong interest in experimental condensed matter physics, with a specific emphasis on the synthesis and characterization of ferroelectric materials and exploring their applications for energy storage, energy harvesting, dielectric capacitors and optoelectronic devices. He has made notable contributions through his publications in his research field. He has co-authored eight international peer-reviewed publications of which six are published in reputed journals including Elsevier, Springer and Journal of Applied Physics (JAP), and two are published in Scopus-indexed conference proceedings. He has also attended several international and national conferences, workshops and special courses to advance his scientific acumen. He is also seeking the possibility of utilizing machine learning algorithms in the prediction of the properties of ferroelectric materials.
