Dr. Pijush Kanti Mondal is a Doctorate and M.Sc. In applied chemistry from Aligarh Muslim University. He pursued his Postdoctoral research at Centre of Biological Engineering, University of Minho, Portugal for a period of 3 yrs. He has 14 publications, in peer reviewed international journals with high impact factor. He has published three book chapters and one book entitled “Biodegradation and adsorption of dyes from coloured wastewater”. Dr Mondal has google scholar citation of 656 with h-index 12. His current research interests are energy recovery from wastes/wastewaters by sustainable technologies, namely anaerobic digestion (biogas and biohydrogen production) in the context \"waste-to-energy\".
