Faculty Details

Dr. Priyanka Roy completed Joint MSc-PhD from the Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. She pursued B.Sc Honours in Mathematics from Serampore College, University of Calcutta. Her research interests include numerical optimization, optimization under uncertainty, interval analysis, game theory and portfolio optimization. She has an excellent academic record throughout her career. She was the recipient of the DST- INSPIRE SHE Scholarship in 2009-2014 for scoring Top 2% all over India. Before joining this institute, she served as an Assistant Professor in Mathematics, School of Basic Sciences and Research from Sharda University, Greater Noida, India. She has currently total 8 publications in internationally renowned journals (including SCI), book chapters and conference proceedings.
