Faculty Details

Dr Sugavaneshwar R P has been a Postdoctoral Researcher in National Institute for Material Science (NIMS) Japan. He completed his Ph D from Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. As a part of collaborative research work during his graduation, Dr. Sugavaneshwar had also undergone a six months internship at NIMS, Japan. He has published several papers in high impact and reputed journals and has filed two patents in the field of Photonics. His main research is focused towards Nano photonics and Nanofabrication. Specifically his work in Japan was towards fabricating various alternative Plasmonic materials and optimizing their optical properties towards exploring novel photonic applications. His area of expertise is Thin film fabrication, Nanofabrication and various characterisation techniques.
