Dr. Sharad Chandra Tripathi is a Doctorate from the Space Science Laboratory, Department of Physics, Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal. He was awarded Erasmus Mundus Fellowship (EM INTACT) by European Union and has worked for Post-Doctoral Research at Department of Electrical Engineering, Frederick University, Nicosia, Cyprus. He has done his M.Phil. from Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal with specialization in Advanced Plasma Physics and fabricated Anteena-Receiver System for observation of 20 MHz signals from different galactic sources at Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences (ARIES). Dr. Tripathi has served the Physical Research Laboratory (PRL), Dept. of Space, Govt. of India, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad as a Project Associate in Astronomy and Astrophysics Division and developed “PACE; Plasma and Current Experiment”, a proposed scientific payload, for India’s first Mars Mission (MOM). He has also contributed in the development, of H-alpha Solar Telescope at Thaltej campus of PRL. Dr. Tripathi has 3.5 years of teaching experience and has published 11 research papers in journals of International repute. He has presented his scientific contributions in various National and International conferences. His research interest includes Solar Physics, Space Weather, Ionospheric Physics and Space Instrumentation.
